🦋 The Gloop — Sacred Alchemy in the Metamorphosis
Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar dissolves.
Completely.
Its old form liquefies into what biologists literally call the gloop — a nutrient-rich soup of potential. The body that once crawled can no longer exist… yet within that formless gloop are imaginal cells — the codes for wings, for flight, for an entirely new way of being.
The gloop is the in-between.
It’s the sacred undoing — the dark, messy, formless phase where identity melts and the future is not yet born.
In our own metamorphosis, this is the moment of surrender.
When old roles, patterns, and protections dissolve…
when the mind can’t make sense of what’s coming next.
But the gloop is holy.
It is where the wisdom of what we’re becoming begins to dream itself into form.
So if you feel undone — if you’re somewhere between what was and what’s to come — remember:
you are not broken.
