Cheers to the end of another wonderful week! Our residents gathered for a fun Friday Happy Hour, filled with Lifestyle staff wearing the granny pants. Residents had balls to throw into them seeing who had the most. Lots of cheating was happening that’s for sure.
Moments like these remind us that community, connection, and joy are what make our home so special. 💛

🎳 Carpet Bowls Fun at Our Nursing Home!
There’s nothing like a friendly game of carpet bowls to bring everyone together! Our residents had a wonderful time today enjoying some laughs, a little friendly competition, and plenty of great shots on the mat.
Activities like this keep everyone active, engaged, and connected — and it’s always amazing to see the smiles and teamwork. Well done to all our bowlers! 👏

Moonta Health and Aged Care Services is a not-for-profit, 77-bed aged care facility located in Moonta on the Yorke Peninsula, less than two hours from Adelaide and 15 minutes from the Kadina Shopping Hub. Applications are invited from experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurses. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care, empathy, and respect for aged care residents. This position reports directly to the Care Manager and is supported by a team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
Key attributes and Responsibilities:
• Strong clinical judgement and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing clinical demands effectively
• Conduct holistic, person-centred nursing assessments, care planning, and coordinate complex clinical care for residents.
• Demonstrate capacity for both independent and collaborative practice
• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing and care staff, including staff development and appraisal
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with residents and their families
This position provides a significant career development opportunity for motivated Clinical Nurses seeking to make a meaningful contribution to the aged care sector. Applicants must reside locally, provide relief for the Care Manager as required, and participate in on-call duties. Relevant clinical experience in aged care is essential.

• Current and valid Police Clearance

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high standards of clinical and person-centred care

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon creating beautiful handmade birdcages — each one uniquely decorated with ribbons, flowers, and lots of creativity. From choosing colors to adding the final touches, every detail reflected their personality and artistic flair.
Activities like these aren’t just fun — they help keep minds active, hands busy, and hearts happy. The room was filled with laughter, stories, and plenty of proud smiles as everyone showed off their finished masterpieces.

Offering High Quality Residential Aged Care on the Copper Coast, Parkview is a purpose built residential aged care service offering 45 high care places, 32 low care places and with in those numbers is a 10 bed Memory Support Unit.
Our facility overlooks a peaceful parklands setting and our surroundings invite residents to step outside and enjoy the sunshine in our delightful garden settings. We also provide residents with a wide range of activities including bus trips, walks, community events, visiting church groups, BBQ's, and entertainment by local community groups to name a few.
Inside comprises of a number of wings; Jubilee, Cedar, Pine, Fern Wings, Wattle, Copper & Rose Courts. The ambience is homelike and peaceful. Residents can relax in the many lounge areas throughout the facility or join in the many activities provided on a daily basis.
