In just four months with CTCC, Abby has shown herself to be a natural-born leader. Using her nursing skills, dedication, and initiative, she has organically grown into this role and truly made it her own.

Abby’s appointment marks an exciting milestone for CTCC, paving the way for our support workers to upskill, grow, and progress within our team. This role represents our commitment to developing our people and creating real career pathways.

🎉 Yay, we did a thing! 🎉

We are so excited to welcome Sarah, our very first Disability Support Worker trainee to the CTCC team! 👏

She is already kicking goals, and our participants are absolutely loving her. Seeing the positive connections, she’s building so quickly reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

As we head into 2026, we’re embracing exciting new beginnings. At CTCC, we are big on retaining and investing in our staff, and taking on a trainee is a huge step in that direction. Supporting our team to grow means better outcomes for our participants — and Sarah is absolutely worth investing in 💚

📢 Meet Murray – Our New Support Services Manager!

Hear a new voice on the phone? That’s Murray, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Country to Coast Care team! 👋

Murray brings over a decade of experience in disability support, case management, and leadership roles across the community and justice sectors. He has worked as a Disability Support Worker, Team Leader, and Case Manager, supporting people with complex needs and mentoring staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.

In his new role, Murray will be working alongside Kira, our Operations Manager, to help keep things running smoothly and ensure our participants receive the highest quality support. You might hear from him soon as he introduces himself to staff and participants.

We’re thrilled to have Murray on board, please make him feel welcome when you chat with him! 🎉

At Country to Coast Care, we’re dedicated to supporting people with disabilities to live independently, with dignity and choice. If you’re a caring, reliable, and experienced support worker, we want to hear from you.

🌟 About the Role
We’re currently seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. This is a casual role offering a variety of shifts to suit your lifestyle.

In this role, you’ll:
✅ Provide personal care, meal preparation, medication support & help with daily living
✅ Encourage independence and support participants in reaching their goals
✅ Work a range of shifts including afternoons, weekends, and split shifts
✅ Build respectful relationships with clients, families, and team members
✅ Maintain accurate records and follow NDIS Practice Standards

📍 Applicants must be willing to work in: Thornton, East Maitland, Rutherford, Cessnock, and Wallsend.

👀 What We’re Looking For
✅ Minimum 1 year experience in disability, aged care, or similar
✅ Friendly, dependable, and committed to person-centred care
✅ Flexible availability for varied shifts
✅ Strong communication and team skills

📋 You’ll Need:
✔️ Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred)
✔️ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔️ Working with Children Check (WWCC)
✔️ First Aid & CPR (current)
✔️ Police Check (within the last 2 years)
✔️ Driver’s licence & reliable, insured vehicle
