Yesterday we celebrated a very special milestone at James Milson Village. Pat's 102 birthday! That's 102 years of incredible stories, wisdom, love and laughter. What an absolute privilege it was to share this joy with you.

At James Milson Village we celebrated Shrove Tuesday the best way we know how, with a hands-on pancake masterclass led by our very talented Chef Avi!

There’s been plenty of laughs, a few secret tips shared, and lots of taste-testing of course! From golden fluffy stacks to everyone’s favourite toppings, it was a delicious way to spend the day.

At James Milson Village, it’s these simple moments of cooking together, sharing stories, enjoying something sweet, that make our community feel like a home.

To our residents, families and friends, we hope your day was just as sweet!

We’re celebrating an incredible milestone at James Milson Village, one of our amazing residents, Pat just turned 102!

You might remember her from her appearance on Sunrise and even braving a jet boat experience thanks to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson, proof that age is just a number!

Thank you to our residents and team for making it such a meaningful and special day with fabulous food, including delicious lamingtons, balloons, props and activities to get into the heart of Australia Day.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Dame Marie Bashir 🤍

Dame Marie laid the foundation stone for our James Milson Village extension on 20 March 2005. The ceremonial trowel from that day still hangs on our wall a simple but powerful reminder of her kindness, leadership and commitment to community.

We’re grateful to have shared a moment in our history with such an extraordinary Australian.
