Did you know 1 in 20 Australian are diagnosed with Diabetes?

There are three types: Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes.

➡️Type 1 Diabetes is caused by the inability for the body to create insulin. People living with Type 1 experience symptoms from birth.

➡️Type 2 Diabetes is caused by the inability for the body to use insulin. People with Type 2 can develop symptoms at any point in life.

➡️Gestational Diabetes (also known as GDM) occurs during pregnancy and is the fastest growing type in Australia. Testing is recommended between 24-28 weeks of pregnancy.
