This Anzac Day let's come together to honour and remember those who served.

𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺 | Road closures will be in place
𝗗𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 will begin at Memorial Hall at 6:00 AM.
After the service, join us for a warm and welcoming Gunfire Breakfast.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 will begin at 10:30 AM, we'll gather for the Anzac Day March along Fitzgerald St, from Grey Street to the War Memorial.

𝗪𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗲
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 will begin at the Town Hall at 8am.

𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 will begin at Hoopers Park at 9am.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 will begin at the Doug Christmass Memorial Grove at 9am.

The commemorative service will be a moment to reflect and pay tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our servicemen and women.

Congratulations to the winners at Beverley Station Arts Gallery & Platform Theatre. The array of art was amazing. Special congratulations to the BEST LOCAL ARTIST, which we were fortunate to sponsor, Marylou Hutchinson for her piece “Dongara Sunset”. Lachlan Hunter MP was also very impressed with the art.

3 days on the Sunshine Coast at the Funerals Australia conference. There’s always something new to learn or “think about”, meeting up with “old” friends & meeting new likeminded ones. The evenings were lots of fun.

Being a rural Funeral Director we cover a huge area throughout the Wheatbelt +. Being recognized as an Essential Service by our government, for fuel is necessary.

Funeral directors travel significant distances every day to bring loved ones into care and support families through the funeral process. Reliable access to fuel is essential to ensure these services continue without disruption.

As the peak national body, Funerals Australia is advocating to State and Federal Ministers for funeral services to be recognised as an essential service in any fuel prioritisation arrangements, helping ensure families can continue to receive care when they need it most.

Join us in advocating for recognition of funeral services in emergency fuel planning.

When someone dies, research shows that ceremony plays an important role in helping people process death. Seeing a coffin, hearing familiar music, sharing stories and gathering with others can provide clarity and meaning during grief.

These moments do not need to be elaborate. Simple rituals and shared presence can be enough.
