November is White Ribbon Month — a time to stand together to end violence against women and support those affected.

This month, Hampstead Health is fundraising for two incredible organisations:

✨ Women’s Safety Services SA — providing support and safety for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

✨ Catherine House — offering crisis accommodation and support services for women and helping them get back on their feet.

💰 Drop your gold coin donations for Women’s Safety Services SA in our reception collection jar
🧺 Bring high-need items (like toiletries, household items, and non-perishable food) for Catherine House to our collection bin

At the end of the month, Hampstead Health will match the total funds raised to double our community impact.

It’s Heart Week (5–11 May), Australia’s national heart health awareness week. The National Heart Foundation of Australia dedicates this week to starting conversations about heart health and taking positive steps to reduce heart disease risk.

🫀 Heart Health Tips:

🥗 Adopt a heart-healthy eating pattern rich in wholegrains, vegetables, and healthy fats.

🚶‍♀️ Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity daily.

🛌 Prioritize quality sleep and manage stress levels.

🚭 Avoid smoking and limit alcohol consumption.

🩺 Take Action: If you have any concerns or want to learn more, book an appointment with your GP today and consider a Heart Health Check!
