This past week was , a time to recognise, celebrate and stand with trans and gender diverse people in our communities.
It is a reminder of the strength, joy and resilience within the trans community and the work we all share in making the world safer and more inclusive.
Yesterday we closed the week with Trans Day of Remembrance.
A day to honour the trans and gender diverse lives lost to violence, discrimination and neglect.
A day that asks each of us to reflect, to pay attention and to commit to doing better.
At One Good* Day we stand with our trans community, our clients, our colleagues and our peers.
We believe in safety. We believe in dignity.
We believe everyone deserves the space to live, to breathe and to be seen for who they are.
For many people the week can bring a mix of emotions, from pride and empowerment through to grief, exhaustion or heaviness. However you are feeling, we see you. And we are here for all of it.
What matters is this, you are not alone.
We will keep showing up. We will keep listening.
And we will keep working toward one good* day, one good* week and one good* year for everyone in our community.
