headspace Nowra is running a creative zine group where we create zines (mini creative booklets) with a different theme each time. Haven't created a zine before? No stress! Every session starts with a recap on how to create one.

Meet one of our awesome team members here at headspace Nowra. Nicholas, who has joined our Work & Study team as a Vocational Specialist moved to the Shoalhaven region 3 years ago and has worked with young people in different roles over the last 6 years. He enjoys supporting young people to succeed and meet their goals as well as the outdoors, including fishing, bush walks and taking his dog Zali for a walk. Say hello to Nicholas!

Hey there! This is headspace Nowra sending through some information about the board game group we are running throughout the school holidays called Tabletop Tuesdays.

Tabletop Tuesdays will be running for multiple weeks on Tuesday the 23rd December, 6th January, 13th January, and 20th January in the afternoon and is an opportunity for social connection and a bit of competitive fun throughout the summer school holidays. We will have a large selection of board games to play and there will be snacks as well. If group numbers allow, you are welcome to attend as many of the groups as you would like.

Last Friday, we were getting ready to join so many incredible organisations who are doing amazing work with and for our community 💚

What a night! We felt grateful to share the space with many passionate people supporting youth and the Shoalhaven community.

Even though we didn’t take home the award, we honestly won in our hearts. Being selected as finalists in the 2025 Community Service Awards was an honour, and a beautiful recognition of the effort, passion, and teamwork behind the Youth Markets project.

Huge shout-out to our Youth Reference Group memebers headspace staff and our Community Engagement Officers for their dedication, creativity, and heart. This project is truly one to remember
