Yoga's emphasis is on sequencing and linking of breath and movement. Thus bringing balance to the body, the breath, the mind and the spirit. All levels of experience are welcome to join in our friendly, non-competitive environment. Classes are based on Hatha and Ashtanga, with individual needs being met. Classes are structured in such a way that the individual can work at their own pace and ability. Improved wellness is gained through increased strength, flexibility, circulation, immunity, posture and balance, concentration and focus. Whilst the practise of Yoga reduces stress and anxiety, weight and also assists in the management of some chronic health conditions. With 20+ years of experience in this industry your fitness & wellbeing are my priority. Private retreats and workshops can be catered for upon request.

Happy Baby Pose (Ananda Balasana) is a favourite among my yoga clients.
It is a great stretch for the inner thighs, inner groins, hips, hamstrings and spine. It provides freedom in the back muscles, which is great after doing other poses, especially backbends and twists. It also calms the brain and helps relieve stress and fatigue.

Dhanurasana (Bow Pose)
This is an intermediate level yoga posture done lying on your stomach on the floor. Please do not practise this if you are pregnant or have extensive lower back pain.
Benefits include
Opens up hip flexors, inproving strength and movement.
Stimulates digestion.
Improves posture.
Strengthens the upper back, spine and hamstrings.
