Remember yesterday when we gathered all the evidence about your gut?

Now comes the part where everything starts making sense.

In Stage 2 of the Gut Detective 4X4 Program, we analyse every clue:

Reducing ultra processed foods doesn’t mean giving up all convenience - it just means becoming more aware of what you’re eating and choosing minimally processed, whole foods more often.

Whole & Minimally Processed Foods - Great
Closest to how nature made them
Washed, chopped, frozen, dried, or fermented without additives
✔ Fresh fruit and veg
✔ Whole grains
✔ Plain yoghurt
✔ Nuts and seeds
✔ Eggs, meat, fish
✔ Olive oil

Processed Foods - still good
Some added ingredients or steps - still recognisable and often nutritious
Foods altered for shelf life, flavour, or convenience - but not heavily modified or full of additives
✔ Tinned tomatoes
✔ Cheese
✔ Wholegrain bread (basic ingredients)
✔ Tinned tuna in oil
✔ Natural kefir or flavoured yoghurt with few ingredients

Ultra-Processed Foods - AVOID IF POSSIBLE
