Some people wish for gifts under the tree, but many of us wish for something we can’t have, for our loved one to still be here. At Christmas, our longing and our love often sit closer to the surface.
Unfortunately, holidays don’t pause grief. They simply remind us how deeply we care. If this season feels heavy, please know your heart is allowed to move at its own pace. You are allowed to seek peace, to seek grace, and to honour the person you miss in your own way.
