16 Days in WA the campaign theme is Stopping Family and Domestic Violence (FDV). It took me twenty years to extract myself from FDV situations. I wrote a book about it called Reclaiming Trust https://www.perthhypnotherapist.com.au/f1527911
My PhD Reclaiming Wholeness (2025) exploring system theory and Intergenerational FDV. It shows how love itself follows systemic laws. Its as if the family has its own invisible field, and when it is out of balance, later generations carry the weight without knowing how or why. It didn't start with me, it was my mother's burden and her mother's before her.
