Across our Community Villages, our residents participated in a Christmas decorating competition that was sure to spread the Christmas cheer. 🎄

From vibrant red bows lining the driveway to themed windows, solar-powered decorations, outdoor displays and festive greetings, our village residents came together and created fabulous displays that certainly didn’t disappoint. 🤩

We’re still smiling after this beautiful moment at our Bundanoon home.

The Fiji Methodist Church Choir of Sydney filled the space with incredible harmonies, warmth and joy, creating an experience our residents and team won’t forget.

This performance also reflects the broader impact of the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme. Through PALM, we’ve welcomed team members from Pacific nations who bring not only skills and dedication, but rich culture, music and community spirit into our homes. That diversity strengthens our workforce and enriches the lives of the older people we support. 💜🎄

Beautiful carols, great dancing, amazing outfits and a festive atmosphere filled Mt Warrigal during the home’s recent Christmas celebration. 🎶

Following a morning of fabulous Christmas carols that had our residents singing and dancing along, and even one resident joining in on the spoons, everyone enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch shared with their family.

Recently, our Figtree Community Village held a wonderful birthday celebration for Keith, a member of the Property Services team. 🎂

Our residents joined for a delightful afternoon tea celebration to mark Keith’s 70th birthday and to thank him for his support with maintenance requests around the village.

Enjoying delicious treats, this was a lovely afternoon of connection and great company, continuing to build the community at Warrigal. 💜

Earlier this week, Annette, one of our Figtree Community Village residents, was recognised for her incredible 30 years of service as a police volunteer. Prior to volunteering, Annette worked with NSW Police for 22 years. ⭐️

Annette’s profound impact within the community was celebrated with a special event that joined together our CEO, Jenni Hutchins, MP, Ryan Park, members of the police force, fellow residents and her family. During the event, Minister Ryan Park presented Annette with a Community Recognition Statement for her outstanding commitment to keeping the community connected and supported.

Annette’s recognition demonstrates the immense impact older people have within our community, and we’re proud to have her as part of our Warrigal community. 💜

Our Op Shop will be temporarily closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

The last day of operation will be Friday the 19th December 2025, and we will reopen on Wednesday the 14th January 2026. During this period, we will not be accepting donations.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers for your support during 2025. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year! 💜
