There’s no greater feeling than resting in the arms of a safe man. A stable man. A sensitive yet strong man. There’s nothing more beautiful than a calm grounded man. A man that instinctively allows you to soften, sweeten and surrender. There’s no greater peace than feeling his presence and protection. He knows when to be tough and when to be tender. When to guide you by the hand and when to simply hold your heart. There’s no greater feeling of peace than to feel him fully present. To feel deep unity even in proximity. To look up to him for guidance and to know he will always lift you higher. There’s no greater gift than to trust him to lead you because he is not led by his ego but he is led by soul. Men like this are rare. They are sacred. If you find one and he happens to love you back never let him go. Give him your entire heart and treat him like he is Holy.

No one talks about the grief that comes from realising a pure heart cannot survive in this world. No one talks about the grief of having to build boundaries after you’ve been used used and abused. No one talks about the grief of shutting down the carefree, tender, romantic self because the only thing that turns people on these days is perversion. No one talks about the grief of enduring so much heartbreak and hardship and knowing you’ll never be the same. No one talks about the grief of believing in love over and over yet realising it all ends. Whether by death or destruction of the bond. It all ends. No one talks about the grief of having to shed your innocence and purity in order to exist in a sick society. No one talks about the grief of having to accept that times have changed. No one talks about the grief of having to live in an inverted world where conservatism is considered prudish and innocence is synonymous with ignorance. No one talks about the grief of experiencing exploitation, betrayals, violations and realising the world is full of lies, illusions and darkness. There’s deep grief in being forced to outgrow your divine inner child. I’m definitely grieving the loss of that pure hearted version who wanted to see the good in people despite the bad. But I celebrate the arrival of a wiser self. The real work lies in not allowing the pain to steal your light but to come away balanced so that the darkness doesn’t consume you. To allow the past to inform you but not control you! To recognise God present in both shadow and light. There’s strength but also deep grief in growing up. 🩵

When a man doesn’t want to change, he’s telling you he prefers the comfort of his patterns over your love. He’s telling you his ego is more important than his evolution. He’s telling you self preservation is more important than the preservation of your relationship. No matter how much you love him. Speak about mutual growth and meeting eachother’s needs or how much you hope he’ll eventually rise to meet you and offer empathy over ego…if he’s more committed to staying the same he’ll simply find someone who allows it… someone who won’t challenge him or ask him to grow. He’ll prefer a surface connection that won’t require the emotional maturity he’s too lazy or too afraid to step into. Many man will not leave you for someone prettier or better but someone easier. They choose the path of least resistance because accountability feels like criticism and control to the weak and unwise. You can always spot the unconscious egoists by their preference to change partners rather than their unhealthy patterns. And yes, if they loved you deeply enough, they would.
