Dr Roselina Habib our new GP trainee : Welcome to Oberon.π
My name is Dr Roselina Habib, and I am delighted to be joining the Oberon Medical Centre team. I am committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and to building long-term, trusted relationships with the local community.
I graduated from medical school in 2016 and have since gained broad and diverse clinical experience across multiple specialties. My background includes womenβs health and contraception, general medicine, endocrinology, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, paediatrics, and surgical skills. I also have strong experience in preventive care and screening programs, with a focus on holistic and patient-centred medicine.
I have worked in different countries, which has enriched my clinical perspective and strengthened my ability to care for patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. I also hold a Professional Diploma in Family Medicine, reflecting my strong commitment to comprehensive general practice.
Since moving to Australia, I have worked across several hospitals in Sydney, including Sydney Private Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital, Ryde Hospital, and Royal North Shore Hospital. These roles have helped me develop well-rounded clinical skills, adaptability, and a calm, organised approach to patient care.
I am now excited to begin this next chapter as a Rural General Practitioner. I am passionate about delivering holistic care across all stages of life and supporting individuals and families in managing both acute and chronic health conditions.
Outside of medicine, I am a proud mum of twins, which has deepened my appreciation for family-centred care. I enjoy playing the violin, value organisation and teamwork, and have a strong interest in community and charitable organisations that support and empower people.
I look forward to contributing meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of the Oberon communityβnow and in the years to come.
