Homestyle Sea Views Manor enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon celebrating with plenty of Irish cheer! 🍀💚

From live entertainment and sing-alongs to dancing, laughter, and Guinness tastings, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The “Guess How Many Lucky Coins” challenge also brought out some friendly competition!

Smiles, laughter, and a sea of green made it a truly memorable St Patrick's day for everyone involved.

Residents of Homestyle Sea Views Manor are incredibly proud to have been awarded the Joan Holding OAM Perpetual Trophy for Most Points, after taking out first place in the Aged Care Art & Craft section at the Bellarine Agricultural Show over the Labour Day long weekend.

This year marked the 32nd show held in Portarlington, a wonderful celebration of country life where the community comes together to share the best of the Bellarine.

Beautiful artwork and handcrafted pieces created by residents were proudly displayed among the many creative and agricultural exhibits, with their talents and dedication truly shining through. Sea Views Manor will proudly display the trophy for the next 12 months.

Residents at Homestyle Sea Views Manor are incredibly proud of their wonderful achievement in this year’s 7th Annual The Great Australian Scarecrow Competition. While they didn’t place this time, their entry “Miss 2026 – Mother Nature” truly showcased the creativity and teamwork of the community.

The special scarecrow was created through the combined ideas and efforts of residents, their families and dedicated staff, making it a true community project brought to life by everyone involved.

If you’d like to see her in person, the scarecrows are on display along the Bellarine Highway at Flying Brick Cider Co until the end of March.

Congratulations to all the other fantastic entries. The team is already excitedly planning next year’s creation!

This month at Sea Views Manor, residents and staff came together to share stories and memories from their wedding days, bringing along beautiful photos and wedding gowns from years gone by. A special journey through love, friendship and treasured moments. 💖

Betty proudly displayed her wedding dress, her daughter’s gown and another beautiful dress she lovingly made herself, each piece telling a story of love across generations. Betty’s daughter Rhonda joined in, sharing a precious posy bag carried on both their wedding days along with a photo of Betty on her special day.

Staff joined too, trying on different gowns including a traditional Nepalese wedding dress. It was a joyful and meaningful celebration of love, culture and connection at Sea Views Manor.

Last week, residents and families at Homestyle Aged Care Sea Views Manor enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea under the gazebos, making the most of the beautiful weather. With sunshine overhead, gentle music in the background, and a wonderful selection of cakes alongside hot and cold drinks, the afternoon was filled with relaxed conversation and plenty of smiles.

Creativity is in full bloom at Sea Views Manor. Residents have been getting crafty and designing their very own handmade fascinators just in time for the Spring Racing Carnival.

With feathers, flowers, and plenty of laughter, the room was buzzing with creativity as each resident added their personal touch to these stunning headpieces.
