⚽⛷️🏔️⛵🏊♂️ High Performance Sport Psychology Workshops
This December, Dane Barclay of Bellarine Psychology will be hosting a limited series of High Performance Sport Psychology Workshops designed for parents of junior athletes and coaches of all sports and ages who want to build confidence, focus, and resilience.
Drawing on experience with Olympic and Commonwealth medallists, Tour Professionals across golf, surfing, snowsports, and tennis, as well as AFL and international-level sailing, Dane brings insights from elite performance environments — adapted for community sport and youth development.
“What I’ve learned is that no matter the sport or the level, the internal game never changes — the pressure, the doubts, the moments that matter most. The athletes and supports who learn to work with those experiences, not against them, are the ones who perform consistently.”
These sessions are interactive and practical, exploring how psychology and relationships, drive growth, composure, and consistency in sport.
🕔 Parents Session 5pm (90min)
🎯 You’ll Learn How To:
• Help your athlete build calm confidence by focusing on what truly helps them perform — not just what looks like success.
• Handle nerves, mistakes, and self-doubt — yours and theirs — with calm and curiosity.
• Use mindset and preparation tools to stay present, enjoy the game, and turn challenges into growth moments.
🕖 Coaches Session 7pm (90min)
🧠 You’ll Learn How To:
• Build team environments where clear standards grow alongside trust, care, and connection.
• Help athletes stay composed and adaptable by weaving mindset skills into everyday training and communication.
