It’s on these cozy rainy days that my mind races in different directions. Some thoughts seem to come and go others linger longer. If you have someone to soundboard even better then these lingering thoughts turns into something else they become hearty discussions.

The lingering thoughts today brings me to the core of most relationship issues.
We have an influence on those around us with our own insecurities and fears.

Insecurities can profoundly damage our relationships by creating a cycle of fear, mistrust, jealousy and emotional exhaustion for both partners, friends and colleagues.
Our personal insecurities—rooted in fear, low self-esteem, or past trauma—rarely stay contained within ourselves. When brought into relationships, they often act as a "silent killer," transforming into behaviors that erode trust, drain loved ones emotionally, and ruin friendships.

This is really just touching on the tip of the iceberg. There are so many layers to this topic. If you feel something mentioned here resonated with you, therapy can help address the root cause of this very sensitive issue.

Stay warm and dry -

Quality time with dear friends is more than just being together—it’s about truly showing up. It lives in shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and even in the quiet comfort of simply being side by side. When we are fully present—listening, opening up, and letting ourselves be seen—we create deeper, more genuine connections.

These moments become a refuge in a busy world, easing stress and reminding us we’re not alone. Over time, they turn into cherished memories that stay with us, strengthening bonds and nurturing a lasting sense of love and belonging.

t’s been a long while since I’ve shown up here.

The truth is, life has been full of unexpected challenges and tender seasons that needed my time, energy, and quiet attention. During this time, art has remained a gentle companion behind the scenes — holding space, helping me process, and reminding me that creativity never truly leaves us, even when we step away.

If you’ve ever gone quiet because life felt heavy, please know you’re not alone. Sometimes stepping back is part of the healing.

I’m slowly finding my way back and would love to reconnect, share, and continue this journey with you. Thank you for being here and for your patience and kindness 💛

Much appreciation for my clients that kept showing up, patiently waiting and watching for the light in me to ignite again.

During this time we had been able to make some satisfying art together though!!!

Behavior is communication — not defiance.

When children show “problem behavior,” it’s often because their coping skills are overwhelmed. What we do next matters. When emotions are dismissed or minimized, feelings tend to grow louder and harder to manage. Regulation becomes more difficult, and the behavior escalates.

When we pause to validate and soothe, we help a child’s nervous system settle. From there, their brain can learn how to cope, regulate, and respond more effectively the next time. Over time, this is what leads to less challenging behavior — not because the child was controlled, but because they were supported.

We don’t reduce behavior by suppressing feelings.
We reduce behavior by teaching children how to handle them.

If your 2026 also started on a bumpy road like mine with lots of personal setbacks and challeges let me remind you and myself of what I have written here not too long ago.

‘Choose Joy’
It is a powerful mindset and lifestyle philosophy that emphasizes making a conscious decision to find happiness and contentment, even amidst life's challenges, by focusing on gratitude, perspective, and intentional daily actions, rather than waiting for circumstances to be perfect.

I needed to read this again today and put my feet firmly on 2026 soil even though its already the 7th ! 😁

‘Choose Joy’
. is a powerful mindset and lifestyle philosophy that emphasizes making a conscious decision to find happiness and contentment, even amidst life's challenges, by focusing on gratitude, perspective, and intentional daily actions, rather than waiting for circumstances to be perfect. Waiting could mean you will never have it.

It looks lovely on a quote, people profess it like it’s a box to tick but it is not always possible or easy. Circumstances can make it difficult to see what goodness happens around us.

How do you find joy in the midst of chaos? Maybe it's about taking a step back, breathing deeply, and noticing the little things that bring us happiness. Maybe it's about being present in the moment, letting go of our worries and fears, and allowing ourselves to feel the joy that's already there, waiting to be tapped into.

Whatever it is, I think we're all searching for that feeling of joy, that sense of lightness and freedom that makes life feel more meaningful and fulfilling. And when we find it, we should hold onto it tight, savoring every moment of it, because joy is a gift worth cherishing.
