While water birthing offers a multitude of advantages like this, it’s essential to carefully consider all aspects before making a decision. And also to know that in the moment, you might feel differently about birthing in water and that's okay!

Here are some other things to keep in mind:

- Is your care provider supportive? You may wish to discuss your desire for a water birth and explore their experience and qualifications in facilitating water deliveries.

- In what circumstances would you/your care provider want to avoid water birth? Water births may not be suitable for all pregnancies. Certain circumstances and medical conditions might necessitate a different birthing environment.

- Do you have access to an appropriate bath or birth pool? We offer a range of high-quality birth pools designed to provide a safe and comfortable space for your water birth experience. You may be able to "make do" with a cheap kiddie pool or your home bathtub, but maybe not!
