Hydrating yourself before, during and after your Helsi One sauna session is almost as important as the sauna session itself.
How you sauna and making sure you have healthy sauna hydration habits will ensure you get the maximum benefits out of every session.
Here are our top hydration tips for before, during and after your session:
Before:
1–2 Hours before your sauna session drink approximately ~1 glass (250-500 ML) of water
During:
Sip regularly; aim for ~500 ml (or at least 0.5 L) if the session is long or you sweat heavily
After:
After your session aim to drink about 1.5 times the volume of water you lost in sweat.
