Starting from the 1st of September, we will be bulk billing all patients with a valid Medicare card, even on Saturdays!

Please note that procedures and iron infusions will still incur an out of pocket cost however standard consultations will be fully bulk billed.

Our Clinic

Officer Family Medical Clinic is a brand new establishment that is purposely built in Officer to server the medical needs of the community. The medical clinic is equipped with the latest medical facilities, equipment and state of the art infrastructure to accommodate patient needs.

The clinic is comprised of Doctors, Nurses, administration staff, a Pathology.

Dr Theekshana Dissanayake, MBBS, FRACGP graduated from The University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2000 and migrated to Australia in 2006. He has been working as a GP for the last 13 years and attained a fellowship in General Practice in 2010.

Dr Theekshana has special interests in chronic disease management, preventative care, skin cancer and aged care while excelling in minor procedures. Working in the rural town of Traralgon has allowed him to manage complex patients with confidence due to lack of specialist support.
