Our Story
Centrepoint Cafe Taree is nurturing, uncomplicated and a little cute. Baking fresh every day, we’re for people who appreciate wholesome, homemade food.
While everybody’s getting ready for work or school, Julie-Ann & or Mark are here baking from 7:30am, getting the cakes & meals ready for the day. There’s no chain of chefs or factory food; it’s just us. The menu is seasonal & specials are decided weekly & sometimes even daily.
All year round you’ll find a savoury tart/quiche with delicate herbs & fresh ingredients, baked goods fresh out of the oven, especially scones and cakes, and healthy, but substantial salads. Chilly days bring soups, casseroles, roasted root vegetables salads and hearty melts. You’ll always find a superb coffee, made with certified organic beans “O” Espresso is our coffee of choice. We use locally produced milk and offer Almond milk, Happy Happy Soy Boy and Lactose Free Milk.
The pace here isn’t frenetic. Things are solid, reliable and dependable. Slow down, relax, grab a mag and savour your meal, enjoy your hiatus from a busy day.
