What a fantastic two days!

We loved hosting the DIR® Floortime 101 Training with the amazing Louisa Hunter from Integrate OT this weekend. Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such enthusiasm, thoughtful discussion and openness to learning.

A big thank you as well to Louisa for travelling to present and for sharing her incredible knowledge with our community.

World IBCLC Day 🤍

Today we’re celebrating the incredible work of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs)! Who support families through one of the most important parts of early parenthood.

We’re especially proud to recognise our colleague and friend Maria from Maria Ryan Lactation.

Maria provides compassionate, evidence-based support to families navigating feeding challenges, helping parents feel confident, informed and supported in their feeding journey.

Her knowledge, care and dedication make a real difference to so many families in our community, and we’re grateful to work alongside professionals like her.

Thank you, Maria, for the work you do and the families you support every day.

Rare Disease Day 🤍

Held on the last day of February, Rare Disease Day raises awareness for the 300+ million people worldwide living with a rare condition.

Today we’re highlighting Mowat Wilson Syndrome (MWS) — a rare genetic condition affecting approximately 1 in 50,000–70,000 people.

MWS can impact:
• Development and learning
• Speech (many children are non-verbal)
• Vision and epilepsy
• Bowel function (around 50% are born with Hirschsprung disease)
• Muscle tone and coordination

Every journey looks different. What remains constant is the resilience of these children and the strength of the families beside them.

Today we’re especially celebrating our beautiful client Jax, who lives with MWS. 💛
Jax brings determination, personality and so much joy to our clinic. We’re proud to be part of his team.

Awareness leads to understanding.
Understanding leads to inclusion.
And inclusion changes lives.
