🌟 Wayne’s Fave Accessible Spots in Orange – Stop #4: Lakeside Kiosk 🌟

We’ve saved a big one - because this café is Wayne’s all-time favourite. He rates it 9/10 every single visit, and honestly… we get why. 💜

Lakeside Kiosk ticks every box:
🍳 The best B&E roll in town (Wayne stands by this!)
♿ Fully accessible for wheelchair users
🌳 Big open outdoor space with picnic tables
🌅 Gorgeous views across the lake
🚣 And if you time it right… you might catch the Dragonboats out on the water!

It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed morning, fresh air, and good vibes. You just can’t beat it.

This week, Wayne checked out Bensons, and while it can be a little tight and tricky to navigate inside, the outdoor seating and this mug that Wayne thinks looks like him, definitely makes up for it. 💜

With the sunshine out and Orange putting on its best weather, the outdoor area is the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a coffee. ☀️☕

It’s summer in Orange - you know what that means: cherry picking season! 🍒

We took Zac out to Hillside Harvest this week to make the most of it.
Fresh fruit, fresh air, and a chance to get out of the usual routine.

These small, local experiences are exactly why community access matters.
They build confidence, spark conversation, and remind people that support shouldn’t feel clinical - it should feel human.

A simple morning out. A good time. And a win for Zac.

With its beautiful shady garden, relaxed atmosphere, and a seriously good bacon & egg roll, this café has quickly made its way onto Wayne’s must-visit list.

🚜✨ Zac at Australian National Field Days! ✨🚜

Our mate Zac was in his absolute element today out at the Australian National Field Days - surrounded by tractors, tools, and all the big farm toys you could imagine! 😄

We’re very thankful he didn’t drive home with a tractor on the trailer… but let’s be honest, he definitely would’ve loved to. 👀💚

Days like this are what we’re all about — real experiences, real joy, real connection out in our community.

✨ Good News Story: Suz’s Sydney Adventure! ✨

On Wednesday, our amazing participant Suz celebrated her birthday in style - with a Sydney Harbour cruise alongside her support worker, Maddy!

Suz has been dreaming of a trip to Sydney for quite some time, and we were thrilled to help her make it happen. The getaway was more than just a celebration - it was an incredible opportunity for capacity building, from navigating public transport and city streets to enjoying a well-earned lunch aboard a beautiful cruise ship.

Suz absolutely loves Sydney, and it’s so special to see her return to one of her favourite places and enjoy a day that was all about her. 💙

Our Halloween BBQ was an un-boo-lievable day of frightful fun and spooky shenanigans! 🦇✨

We cast all the right spells:
🕸️ Creepy egg-and-spoon races (lots of cracked eggs… and maybe some cracked witches too!)
🎨 Rock painting that was fang-tastically creative
🧱 LEGO building for the mad scientists among us
🎉 And a monster amount of laughs!

A ghost-sized thank you to everyone who floated in for the fun - you made the night spooktacular. 🧡

And a special howl-out to Wayne, our fearless BBQ king! 🌭🔥 Your skills are so good it’s… scary.

We’re all about bringing Good Times to life - creating inclusive community moments where everyone feels welcome (whether you’re a goblin, ghost or just a regular human 😉).
