Wangarang’s Life Skills Cooking Program helps participants develop essential cooking and food safety skills for independent living, including:
✅ How to shop for ingredients
✅ Food preparation and safe cooking techniques
✅ Safe cutting and food handling
✅ Planning and cooking meals confidently at home

Our one-on-one, in-home sessions give participants the support they need to live independently while building confidence and practical skills.

Whether you’re starting out or looking to strengthen your abilities, this program is all about learning, independence, and enjoying the process.

A big shoutout to the amazing people at the Orange Model Aircraft Club Inc for their incredible support and inclusivity!

Greg from Wangarang loves spending his Saturdays at the club, and thanks to their kindness, it’s become even more accessible and welcoming.

They’ve gone above and beyond by adding handrails in the toilets and building a fantastic ramp for Greg’s wheelchair. What a great example of community spirit taking flight! ✈️
