We are still looking for more participants from the Western NSW area. Anyone over 18 and able to undress/stand unaided for 5 mins are able to participate.

We are proud to be able to offer access to the ACEMID Melanoma Cohort study in conjunction with Cancer Care Western, ACRF and the University of Sydney. We have seen over 500 people for this study and need a few more volunteers!!!

This study uses 3D total body photography to monitor skin spots
and moles for the early detection of melanoma. It is open to anyone over 18, who can undress and stand unaided for 10 minutes. Ideally we are after more people who haven't had any skin cancers in the past.
The trial requires a commitment to attendance in Orange, as it runs over 2-3 years and will involve at least 3 visits. It requires approximately 60-90 minutes of your time at each visit.

ACEMID is a research study and should not be used to replace your
usual medical care or skin checks. If you have any concerns about

Happy World Skin Health Day! 8th July!
Today we spent the morning at the Orange Health Service supporting our local hospital workers, by providing sunscreen, coffees, and answering questions. Thank you to everyone to came by, said hello, and filled out our survey!
World skin health day is about increasing awareness about the importance of skin health.
A huge shout out to Baz Hamo of Propaira Australia for providing 200 bottles his new ‘Reflekta’ zinc sunscreen for our health care workers.

The screening was held as a fundraiser in support of Cancer Care Western NSW, an organisation that provides accommodation to patients in Central Western NSW region receiving cancer treatment in Orange. The 250K Youth Project team have released an animation for teens which explains how to manage eczema (atopic dermatitis) on a day-to-day basis, as well as managing eczema flares.
