Merry Christmas from the Learn2Communicate team -

Term 4 is now very quickly drawing to a close. We have once again all loved working alongside our many families and their children throughout Term 4 to see some lasting, significant improvements in speech, language and communication skills.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in our Cowra Learn2Communicate clinic! Happy Friday everyone.

A special shout out to all of the children and their families who have buckled in for their speech pathology sessions in December. It is a crazy, out of routine ride into the end of Term and you are all doing so well.

And a special Thank You to my Cowra team who always manage to find ways to put the fun back into our days!

Being given beautiful little handmade cards like this at the end of Term is a gorgeous reminder of just how much I love my 'job'. Enjoy the last few days of Term 3 everyone. All of our children and their families have worked so hard over the Term. We are so proud of you!

We don't often get a photo opportunity like this so just had to grab it!

Most of our team were able to attend our Term 3 speech pathology learning and planning day today in our Orange office.

I am so lucky to have such amazing, dedicated and talented speech pathologists, office managers and one superstar allied health assistant in our Learn2Communicate family.

We are all looking forward to what the rest of Term 3 will provide and now have lots of fresh ideas to share with our families soon.

Thank you to the wonderful team of dedicated educators at Cowra Early Childhood Services last night. We are so lucky to have such awesome early childhood educators in Cowra. We explored a variety of topics in our workshop including how to engage with families and support parents/carers when we observe that children may not be developing 'within the flags', how to harness the power of our voice to connect with children and how to access available services in our region.

I just love this team. Look at what greeted me this morning when I arrived in the Orange office and went into the kitchen to make a cuppa! Celebrating the end of a busy school term seems like a great excuse for a chocolate brownie (or two)! Thank you to our office baking fairy. K

We have another staff member to celebrate this week!

When Allan Starr (our very helpful Office Administration Manager in Orange) is not busy running around doing his best to keep our busy clinic running smoothly, he can sometimes be found taking the most amazing photographs of Mount Canobolas in the winter. Allan has just published a beautiful book of his photography which is now available for sale.

A display copy is available to browse through in our Orange waiting room. Do yourself a favour and take a look the next time you are accompanying your child to therapy or head to Allan's website for further information. The photos are really just so unique and very, very beautiful. What a talented team member we have!

It has been a week of celebration here at Learn2Communicate with one of our newest team members @ officially graduating as a Speech Pathologist yesterday! Emma joined our team in January this year and is based in our Cowra office.

Her dedication, passion for her chosen career, enthusiasm and desire to learn are only a few of the reasons we all love her. Emma is also a bundle of fun with the most infectious laugh in the office!

Well done Emma. We are all super proud of your achievements!

What a lovely way to finish our week. Gorgeous little Josie was the winner of our Lolly Jar guessing competition last week. Josie's guess of 183 was the closest to the 193 lollies in the jar. (Yes, we do hope she shares!!!)

Thanks again to our who played, engaged, blew plenty of bubbles, and shared her enthusiasm with many families last weekend during the Cowra International Festival of Understanding alongside the Cowra Child & Family Network

Josie called in just now to collect her delicious jar of sweets and her Kindy Chatterbox prize; full of activities to keep her speech and language skills growing.

Well done Josie! We hope you enjoy your prize!
