🗓️ How long have you been with The Physio Station?
Around 18 months now.

🤩 What’s your favourite thing about being a Physio?
The opportunity to build relationships with people in the community, and helping them reach their goals for increased function.

🌍 Dream holiday destination?
Recently I’ve been dreaming of hiking in Norway!

🏔️ If you weren’t a physio, what would you be?
If I wasn’t a physio, I think I’d do something in nature, like working as a hiking guide or national park ranger. I’m also studying to be an acupuncturist, so should probably say that too…

💙 What do you love most about your role?
The people I work with - both the clients, and our great team.

🎧 Book or podcast recommendation?
I really like the Waterpeople Podcast - they interview a lot of interesting people and explore different themes around living life well.

🐾 Are you a dog person or a cat person?
Absolutely dog person. Will happily show photos of my labrador pup to anyone who asks.

August is Tradies National Health Month 👷‍♂️🔧
The numbers say it all:
⚠️ 9 in 10 tradies had work-related pain or injury last year.
⚠️ 3 in 4 say it impacts daily life.
⚠️ 1 in 4 fear they’ll have to retire early.

💡 Nearly 2 in 3 tradies who see a physio report major pain relief – or no pain at all.

Your body is your best tool.
Look after it. Book your physio check-up today.

See choose.physio/tradieshealth for more info on how physio can help you.

Julian is the founder and director of The Physio Station — and the reason it all began! With a passion for helping people return to work and stay injury-free, he brings a calm, thoughtful presence (and funny memes in the group chat) to the team. 👇 Get to know him a little more below!

🕐 How long have you been with The Physio Station?
I started The Physio Station as a sole trader in 2014 from within The Wellness House. I began one day a week and my first day I saw one person!
I now am physiotherapist and director at The Physio Station.

💬 What’s your favourite thing about being a physiotherapist?
My favourite work as a physiotherapist is helping people get back to work as it can be such a stressful time in someone’s life. I do also like working with companies to prevent injuries.

☕ Go-to coffee order?
I order a long black with a dash of oat milk! It’s an unusual order that I often have to repeat.

🌴 Dream holiday destination?
I like the NSW mid-north coast for its climate.

🤔 If you weren’t a physiotherapist, what would you be?
If I wasn’t a physio I’d be a politician! I think?

😊 What do you love most about your role?
I like seeing employees happy in their work when they feel confident and rewarded.

🎧 Book or podcast recommendation?
Hamish and Andy are a great podcast for a pick me up, and 15 minutes with the boss by the AFR is great!

🐶🐱 Are you a dog person or a cat person?
I can never decide! I’ve never owned a cat though so one day maybe I will try it.
