Theme: Empowering Voices, Driving Inclusion

Today we celebrate the incredible contributions of people with disability and renew our commitment to building a world—and workplaces—where everyone belongs.

Pictured here are Jase and Dave, two valued members of our SpiritAbility admin team. Both Jase and Dave live with disability, and like all members of our team, they are employed in mainstream roles, earning a full award wage, no subsidies, no incentives, just recognition of their skills, dedication, and the value they bring.

Their contribution reminds us what true inclusion looks like:

These two incredible mums carry the same hope for their families that they bring into our workplace every day: love, compassion, and a genuine desire to make life better for the people around them.

Peej is the heartbeat that keeps us moving forward, always encouraging, always lifting others higher, always believing in what we can become together.

From becoming an NDIS-registered organisation to opening our first commercial shopfront in Orange, we’ve grown in ways that reflect not just our services, but who we truly are.

This month, we’re proud to stand up and speak out for Disability Employment Awareness Month 2025 💙

Because the truth is we can all do more, and we can all do better.

At SpiritAbility, we’re incredibly honoured to practice what we preach by employing two amazing men, Jason and Dave on full award wages.
No subsidies. No hidden incentives.
Just genuine, meaningful work that matters.

Jason, who lives with cerebral palsy, and Dave, who lives with a traumatic brain injury, are both incredible parts of our team. Every day, they bring value, purpose, and heart into our workplace. Their roles matter and so do they. 💪

Inclusive employment isn’t complicated.
It’s not about ticking boxes or meeting quotas.
It’s about having conversations, making small adjustments, and seeing the person not the disability.

There are so many capable, motivated people out there who just need a chance a door opened, an opportunity offered, a workplace willing to say “yes, we can.”
