Shingles Action Week: Protect Yourself Against Shingles

Shingles is a painful rash that can lead to long-term nerve pain and other complications, especially as we get older. 1 in 3 will develop shingles in their lifetime.

If you are aged 65 and over, you may be eligible for a FREE government-funded shingles vaccine. This is the best way to reduce your risk and protect your health.

If you are aged 50 and over, you can still receive the vaccine with a private prescription.

Don't wait until it happens to you — prevention is the best protection.

👋 Meet Marco (pictured), an experienced Exercise Physiologist with 20 years' experience, helping people improve their health, movement, and quality of life through exercise. Marco has worked in Perth for 15 years and lives locally in Padbury.

Exercise Physiology can help with chronic conditions, injury recovery, balance, strength, mobility, pain management, mental wellbeing, and healthy ageing.

Advara HeartCare joins Forrest Road Medical Centre!

We're excited to welcome Advara HeartCare to our practice!

They'll be offering Echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) right here at Forrest Road Medical Centre — so you don't have to travel elsewhere for testing.

Your results will be reviewed by a specialist cardiologist, with follow-up care available if needed.
