We were privileged to have local member Madonna Jarrett MP and Health Minister Mark Butler meet us in store today to discuss cheaper medications and the role out of Pharmacist prescribing. They were also able to have a look at our exciting (currently under construction) new consult room space!

Today I met with our wonderful local state member Jonty Bush - Member for Cooper and discussed importance of community pharmacy, pharmacist scope of practise and federal labor’s 60 day policy. While we both support cheaper medicines for the public Jonty said she would write to the federal health minister in support of community pharmacies and their sustainability

Hi Senator Anthony Chisholm, if you are so proud of this policy, why delete pharmacist's comments on your Facebook post and limit further comments? Whilst lower cost medications are a good policy that the pharmacy profession has advocated for, your ill thought out policy will severely impact local community pharmacies.
