🚽 Toilet Learning Tip
Toilet learning can feel like a huge journey for families, but it becomes much more manageable when we focus on the stepping stones along the way.
One important step many people skip is urge awareness.
Before children can successfully use the toilet, they need to start noticing the signals their body gives them. This might look like:
• Pausing during play
• Holding themselves
• Moving around differently
• Telling you they feel pressure
When adults help children recognize these signals, toileting becomes much easier to learn.
Toilet learning isn’t just about the toilet — it’s about building the skills that come before it.
