Hi I’m Jess, and stumbled upon Paddington earlier this year by chance. Transitioning up from Melbourne during Covid (like so many of us) when I first arrived (living in Kangaroo Point) I knew very little of Paddington. I came across The Work Well Health Centre and was so pleasantly surprised at the holistically minded business there which aligned with my ethos in wellness.
After working in the corporate world of technology, the work is often solving problems. I’ve seen and have experienced quite a lot of stress from people in the workplace (over my career) and as a problem solver, I wanted to do something about this. I have a background in massage, and knew the benefits to easing tension associated with stress - and ultimately make people feel good! So here I AM, on a mission to pursue self care! There really is something about being touched on the head with is instantly soothing. Facial massage, targets nerves and trigger points which can really calm people down. I also offer low-tox skin care which is a sideline to my practices of healing.
My clients have followed me to Paddington and clients of The Work Well have also reached out. I would love to meet more of you!! We'd like to extend a heartfelt welcome to our new team member Michelle from Brisbane Couples Counselling!

Couples seek counselling for many reasons—whether it’s to improve communication, reconnect, feel heard and understood, or finally find effective ways to repair conflict.

Michelle holds a Masters in Counselling and has completed Level 3 training in the Gottman Method. Michelle is currently on the Gottman Certification track and a Bringing Baby Home Educator. She has also undertaken specialised training in treating affairs and trauma, equipping her with the tools to help couples navigate even the most difficult relational challenges. She has also facilitated over 20 couples therapy marathons, helping partners achieve meaningful breakthroughs in a concentrated timeframe.
