As many of you would know I have taken on an afternoon shift job to help lighten the financial load after covid basically munted my little business. Taking the extra hours, the lack of clients, the new location and many other factors into consideration I have decided to shut down the beauty side of Essential Self Wellbeing. Whilst this has always been the eventual plan, it is coming a bit sooner that I had originally intended (I have spent the past 6 months in denial that Covid had truly affected my business). I will also be putting all hypno and meditation sessions on hold for a short period as I set up my new workspace and hopefully that side of it will be back up and running in the not to distant future. Essential oils, blends and related products will still be available with a few slight changes to the way I operate (those details will come shortly). Anyone who still has gift vouchers can still be used for aroma products or hypno and meditation services (once up and running again), if you have a specific beauty service voucher and I have not already contacted you please message me ASAP so that I can exchange or refund your voucher.
I want take this opportunity to thank all of my clients who have come to see me for beauty services throughout the years, it has been my absolute delight and honour to serve you.

ESW is currently closed due to being in covid iso until Tuesday Feb 22nd. If you have a booking during this period and I haven't contacted please message me so I can rebook your appointment ASAP. Any orders placed between 15/02/2022 and 21/02/2022 will be processed from Feb 22nd. I apologise for any inconvenience caused but these are the times we are living in.

I might not being seeing clients right now, but I had a very special client in my room today.
Before the end of term, I may or may not have had Covid at the time, I told this kid she could have her nails done over the holidays. I don't think I could have made her happier, until today when I fulfilled that promise. They are longer than I was thinking she would have them, but as I was saying that to Holly when she came in and looked at Sees nails and proclaimed "they are some seriously crazy long nails, Selina" I had a massive deja vu moment and I knew I knew I was doing them this long.
She is definitely my kid, can't believe she is about to turn 12.

As almost all of you would know both my girls and me tested positive for covid late last year, all of us before Christmas, but I got to isolate through Christmas day itself. Even though neither of the girls went into my workroom and I made the decision to also not go into my workroom whilst I was in isolation, in fact I have only begun to venture into ESW to begin my cleaning process and to blend some orders (so thankful I have my sense of smell back or blending would be really hard for me). Taking this into consideration, as well as the fact that I am so very far behind in all the other things I had wanted to get done during this time, I have put some serious thought into exactly when I will be starting to see clients this year. As much as I would love to throw caution to the winds I feel that the best, and safest, option is to wait until school goes back. Reopening to clients will be happening on Friday the 4th of Feb. I will be working Fridays only for the first 3 weeks, adding Thursdays starting from Feb 24th and the possibility of popping in another day down the track.
I will begin to take bookings from next week, and am open for business for all of my usual essential oils, pre-blends as well as custom blending just for you !

I thank each and every one of you for your kindness, well wishes, and support not only over the past month and for the whole of last year and I look forward to being able to continue to offer my services, and products in 2022.
May the coming year bring happiness, laughter and love to you all (and hoping it is better than the last one, even just a little)
