Live 2 Achieve - Monday 2nd February 2026

Happy Monday everyone, we can't believe it's already the end of January! Today we split across 4 groups for our days activities.

The first group did a scrap booking program at Lilypond, printing off some photos from last year then collaging together a page. They ended up very colourful and will be a lovely art piece to put in our rooms!

The second group headed to Lockys to do their wildlife volunteering. The group did some great work assisting with preparing food, feeding the animals and a little bit of cleanup as well.

The third group took the train into the city to visit the Old Treasury Building. Its very cool to explore new places we haven't been to before. We got to learn about some of the unique and interesting history of Melbourne.

The fourth group went to the pool today at Casey Arc having a great time in the waves and other water features there. The group then got to have lunch at Fountain Gate and a walk around the shops.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 30th January 2026

Happy Friday everyone! What a great end to the week, we got to split across 3 groups for today's activities 🌈

The first group went to Balloon Story! This was a very cool exhibition in the city where there was so many sculptures made out of balloons. The photo opportunities were endless 🎈

The second group also ventured into the city today to visit the Aus Music Vault and National gallery. The music vault had lots of old paraphernalia throughout aus music history which was very cool to see.

The third group had a day at Lilypond playing Wii, games and doing some art. The weather was also so nice the group was able to go for a walk ☀️

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 29th January 2026

Today was such a wonderful day at Live 2 Achieve as we split into four amazing groups, each heading off on their own adventure.

The first group stayed at Lilypond and spent the day learning all about Australia. They cooked up some delicious parmas and chips and worked beautifully together in the kitchen. In between, they enjoyed playing Wii and other games, with plenty of laughter throughout the day.

The second group headed to Kerry N’s Bookshop for a volunteering session. It is always a great day at the bookshop, filled with laughter, fun, and teamwork. We promise lots of work gets done as well.

The third group had an incredible time seeing Bluey’s Stage Show at Bunjil Theatre. The performance was full of energy, music, and familiar characters, keeping everyone engaged and smiling from start to finish.

The final group headed to Cardinia Life to hit the gym. It was so much fun learning how to use new equipment and getting active alongside friends.

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 28th January 2026

Wow Wednesday already, today we split across 4 groups for our days activities at Live 2 Achieve!

The first group did a cooking program making bangers and mash. They did their shopping list and grocery shop before cooking it all up. It was very yummy and a side of peas made it all the more healthy.

The second group headed up to Gembrook for their wildlife volunteering. We are so proud of the effort everyone put in and that you all put your heads down and got to work.

The third group went to Casey Arc for swimming and hydro sessions. It’s nice to get back into routine doing our sessions with Little Warriors Physio For Kids and look forward to a positive term ahead working alongside them.

The fourth group went to Bounce inc today getting to bounce their hearts out on the free jump, dodgeball, basketball and air cushion trampoline activities. What a fun day out and nice to be back at such an enjoyable excursion.

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 27th January 2026

Welcome everyone for our first day back from the holidays, marking the start of a very positive new year for us all! Also, a very special welcome back to Harry, who has been in hospital, we are so happy and fortunate to have you back with us. We split across 3 groups for our day's activities.

The first group spent the day at Lilypond doing some reflection on their holidays and goal setting for the year ahead! It was great hearing stories from everyone's break and having a good catch-up together. In the afternoon, the group was also able to watch Zootopia and continue with some puzzles and games.

The second group headed to Zone Bowling for their first game back. It was a well played game across 2 lanes but in the end Donnie ended up in the lead with a whopping 142 pins. The group then went to get lunch nearby before joining the other Lakeside group in the air conditioned room for some casual games and chats.

The third group went swimming at the Cardinia pool which couldn't have been on a more perfect day. It was great to swim in the cool water as it heated outside throughout the day! In the afternoon the group was able to do some games and other activities while staying cool at Lakeside.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 23rd January 2026

Happy Friday everyone, today we had one lovely group visiting San Remo to see the Pelican feeding!

The group set out on their adventure this morning having a nice drive down. The sun was shining and after slip slap slopping we got out onto the foreshore. The group went for a short walk before getting to watch the Pelican feeding, they're so big!

In the afternoon we had lunch at the fish and chips co-op at the pier. Everyone had delicious meals that we got to share while keeping the seagulls away.

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 22nd January 2026

Our school holiday program is slowly coming to a close, but that just means the most exciting adventures are still to come. Today we split into two groups to enjoy a range of fun activities.

The first group travelled down to Phillip Island to visit the Chocolate Factory. It was so exciting to see and learn about the process of how chocolate is made. There were some very hungry faces as we walked through each step of the factory process, from harvesting cocoa beans overseas to making the chocolate in-house. What a great day out!

The second group spent the day doing some arts and crafts at Lilypond. Their first activity was making bio sun catchers using natural materials and food dye, they were looking very cool and have to set for 24 hours! The second project they worked on was making some custom cards ready to go for the next birthdays!

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 21st January 2026

Midweek fun at Live 2 Achieve today, we split across 2 groups for our days activities!

The first group took the train into the city to visit the stunning Nation Gallery of Victoria. They always have amazing art on rotation to look at and international artist exhibitions that are fabulous. The group had a lovely time practicing their ptv skills getting into the city and then a leisurely walk around the art gallery.

The second group spent their day at Lilypond where they did a cooking program making a lasagne. They did their shopping in the morning and then got into the kitchen nice and early to get the perfect cook on it. At lunchtime the food went down a treat with some participants comparing the taste to that of their grandparents, it was realllly good!

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 20th January 2026

Back for another day at Live 2 Achieve and we got to celebrate our lovely participant Melina! Happy birthday Mel! We split across 2 groups for our activities today.

The first group took the vans to Melbourne Zoo where they got to see all the amazing animals there. They were big, small, cute and some less cute but all the more interesting. It was the perfect day out to celebrate Melina's birthday 🎂

The second group headed off for a game of bowling! They visited Ozpin and had a very close game with Donnie finishing first on 125 pins! The group then has lunch and a walk around the shops in the lovely airconned shops.

Live 2 Achieve - Monday 19th January 2026

Welcome back for the final week of our holiday program at Live 2 Achieve, today we had 2 activities that we got up to!

The first group headed out to the Blue Lotus Water Garden in the Yarra Valley. It was a perfect day for it, and the garden looked incredibly gorgeous. We were able to get some awesome flicks and the smiles on everyone's faces tell the story of the day!

Meanwhile at Lilypond the other group did their cooking program; they spent the morning writing their shopping list and heading to Woolworths before getting in the kitchen together. They all worked as a great team to make their stir fry taking turns in the kitchen and following the steps correctly. The meal turned out delicious and there were no crumbs left over.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 16th January 2026

What a lovely Friday we had today. We split into two groups and everyone had a fantastic time.

The first group headed to Emerald Park Lake for a picnic. Everyone enjoyed exploring the park and even stopped to watch Puffing Billy go by. They sat down for a lovely picnic lunch and, on the way back, they were so lucky and excited to see Meiling's Highland cows. They were absolutely adorable.

The second group headed into the city to Metro HQ to start a new train station passport. They visited the new Town Hall Station and collected their first stamp. It was such a cool experience and we cannot wait to visit the other new stations and collect more stamps.

It was a perfect day here at Live 2 Achieve. Have a fantastic weekend and we will see you all on Monday.

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 15th January 2026

Today at Live 2 Achieve we had an awesome day enjoying the great outdoors. We split into two groups and made the most of a beautiful day full of fun and adventure.

One group headed down to the coast to explore Frankston Beach. They enjoyed a seaside walk, wandered along the pier, played in the park, and relaxed on the sand. It was the perfect way to spend the day, especially with the fresh ocean air.

Our second group visited Myuna Farm, which is always a favourite. Everyone loved feeding and patting the animals, with the adorable bunnies stealing the spotlight once again. Wandering the farm and spending time with the animals was such a lovely experience.

It was a fantastic day of exploring, adventure, and fresh air. Can’t wait to see how Live 2 Achieve finishes the week tomorrow.
