Live 2 Achieve - Friday 24th April 2026

Happy Friday everyone. Today we split across 2 groups for our days activities!

The first group took the train into the city to visit the Play school exhibition at ACMI! It was great to reflect on our childhoods and see how the show was created. The group then had lunch nearby at Fed Square.

The second group spent the day at Lilypond where they started the day talking about ANZAC day. The group then got to go to Pakenham marketplace where some of them got to buy ANZAC pins and see the shrines at the library. Finally, they finished the day by baking some ANZAC cookies and playing some sports outside.

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 23rd April 2026

What a lovely day we had at Live 2 Achieve, we split across 3 groups for our days activities!

The first group had their cooking program at Lilypond where they made some very yummy burrito bowls. The group did their ingredients list and grocery shop before getting into the kitchen. The meal turned out great with everyone being able to build their bowls how they wanted.

The second group visited Kerry's bookshop to help sort books into the correct shelves and look pretty for the market on the weekend. The participants did a fabulous job really making it look nice as well as being able to take a few books for ourselves.

The third group had their first gym class back with Cardinia Cultural Centre. It was great being back in the gym using their equipment to do some cardio and weights. They joined up with the Lilypond group in the afternoon to hang out and enjoy each others company.

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 22nd April 2026

Happy Wednesday team, today we split across 5 groups for our activities at Live 2 Achieve!

The first group had their cooking program where they made chicken and chips. It was very tasty and everyone helped in some way between cooking, shopping and setting the table.

The second group did their op shop volunteering where they helped sort donations, fold clothes and price the stock. Great job to these guys for their consistent helpfulness.

The third group also did some volunteering at the wildlife sanctuary helping feed animals, clean their pens and prepare meals for the next day. We are so proud of our volunteering groups!

The fourth group went and saw the Mario movie at Reading cinemas which was an absolute hoot! It was both funny, cute and put a smile on everyone's face! They then had lunch before finishing their day at Lakeside together.

The last group went to Casey Arc where they had a swim and did their hydro therapy sessions with Little Warriors. The swim was great and refreshing on such a nice warm day! The group then walked over to Fountain Gate for lunch where they got to chat and hang out for a bit.

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 21st April 2026

Happy Tuesday everyone, we hope you're enjoying the lovely weather. We split across 3 groups for our days activities.

The first group had their first session back for their Certificate in Work Education. They had a great lesson presenting on different workplace types and also spent some time catching up on any sections they may have missed last term.

The second group spent the day scrapbooking at Lakeside. It's great to get out all the craft supplies and spend the day putting our creativity to work. The group also had some nice chats about their weeks ahead.

The final group went bowling today where George took the podium with a whopping 145 pins! The group then got to have lunch together at Fountain Gate and chat about the game.

Live 2 Achieve - Monday 20th April 2026

Welcome back for another lovely week at Live 2 Achieve, we split across 4 groups for the days activities!

The first group visited Bounce where they got to have a fun time at the trampoline park. It was so awesome and the group tried all the different activities there.

The second group took part in their wildlife volunteering, where they assisted with feeding the animals, cleaning their pens, and preparing their next meals. Fantastic effort, team!

The third group had a women's social wellbeing day where they did some educational activities about ourselves. It was good to get in touch with our bodies and brains as well as having some fun doing nails and hair to feel confident.

The fourth group had their men's social wellbeing also doing some educational activities. They had a great time doing some experiments and learning how to take care of our bodies and brains.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 17th April 2026

Happy Friday everyone! What a great week we've had and we split across 2 groups for our days activities.

The first group caught the train into the city to visit the Immigration Museum. It was a great opportunity to travel together and catch up about their weeks before enjoying an engaging and educational experience at the museum.

The second group spent that day at Lilypond where they did an art program in the morning using pasta to make rainbow rain clouds to hang in their rooms to get rid of the yucky weather we've been having. In the afternoon it was games galore playing a game of bingo and bouncing ball connect 4!

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 16th April 2026

Happy Thursday everyone, we split across 3 groups for our Thursday activities at Live 2 Achieve. Happy birthday to our lovely support worker Rosy who we got to celebrate today

The first group had a lovely picnic at the park today, getting to go for a walk and enjoy the nice turn in the weather that we've had.

The second group went to Ozpin for a bowling game; it was a close competition today but in the end the winner was Kristian by 3 pins! What a great day out, the group then went to Fountain Gate for lunch before heading back to Lakeside.

The final group did a food sensory challenge at Lilypond where they got to pick out some fruits, vegetables and textures that they hadn't tried before or didn't like and would like to get used to. The group did a fantastic job and we are so proud of them all for trying each of the different foods!

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 15th April 2026

Mid-week fun at Live 2 Achieve, we split across 4 groups for our days activities!

The first group participated in their cooking program making chicken parmas at Lilypond. They went for a shop for the ingredients and got stuck into it in the kitchen. Everyone helped with either preparing the parmas for the oven or cutting up some vegetables for the salad. They had a big family lunch at one table together which was lovely.

The second group did their volunteering at Gembrook where they helped feed, pet, clean and prepare food for the animals there. They got stuck into their work; we are so proud of you guys for your weekly volunteering.

The third group walked across to the Cardinia Cultural Centre where they watched a theatre performance of The Little Mermaid. It was very good and the group adored watching it 🙂

The final group went swimming at Casey Arc, they enjoyed the wave pool, the water play features and spending some time with each other. The group then went to Fountain Gate for lunch and a short walk around the shops.

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 14th April 2026

Happy Tuesday team. Today we split across 4 groups for our days activities!

The first group went to the monthly Balla Balla morning melodies. It was so much fun with Umbrella Support serving us up with some tasty scones with jam and cream as well as lovely, tunes playing from the musician of the day. It really was a splendid day out.

The second group took the vans to basketball at Casey where they got to shoot some hoops and play a few mini games. They had a great time and good run around!

The third group visited Reading Cinemas where they got to see The Magic Faraway Tree based on the book that we all know and love. It was a very cute and touching film, really getting us to think about using our imagination more.

The final group participated in a cooking program at Lilypond, they made a delicious meal to share for lunch. Throughout the day they also played some board games and got into a great game of monopoly!

Live 2 Achieve - Monday 13th April 2026

Welcome back for another week at Live 2 Achieve, we hope you enjoyed your weekend! We split across 3 groups for our days activities.

The first group spent the day doing some art at Lilypond, the activity was t-shirt decorating! Everyone drew their favourite things on their t-shirts then coloured them in with fabric markers. It was a great activity and was very fun to do as a group.

The second group got to work at the life skills house making toasties ready for the ProPlumb toolbox meeting this week. They had a great production line going there and were able to complete making all of the sandwiches! Great job to this group for their hard work.

The final group headed to Ozpin for a game of bowling where todays winner was Declan with a whopping 143 pins with 3 strikes. It was a great competition and the group went to lunch to chat about their week ahead.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 10th April 2026

Happy Friday everybody, today we split across 2 groups to finish off our week!

The first group spent the day venturing out into the city, catching the train to Flinders street and exploring the surrounding area. They went and looked at the Melbourne cathedral, some of the new stations and had lunch together at Grill'd! It was a fantastic day out together.

The second group spent the day at Lilypond where they went for a walk, practiced their math's with a bingo-based game and in the afternoon did a paint-n-sip inspired art class. The group did a step by step painting class with our support workers and got treated to some sparkling juice to add to their experience!

Thank you for such a lovely day and what a great way to end the week together! Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you again on Monday 🙂

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 9th April 2026

Happy Thursday Live 2 Achieve family! Today we split across 3 groups for our days activities.

The first group took part in their cooking program at Lilypond, where they made a delicious feta and tomato pasta. Everyone helped with the cooking and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. In the afternoon, the group enjoyed some games and also worked together to clean and organise the cupboards in preparation for next term.

The second group visited Kerry N's bookshop where they helped her sort through some books and dvds ready for the market on the weekend. It was a great day, and the shop looked very good once they were done with it.

The final group walked over to Cardinia Life where they used the gym and basketball facilities there. It was great to get a workout in with the group doing some weights and shooting some hoops. In the afternoon they visited the Lilypond groups where they got to hang out with the others and catchup about their days.
