This long weekend, remember to stay COVIDSafe. Here’s what you need to know if you’re in metropolitan Melbourne:
- There are no restrictions on the reasons to leave your home but staying COVIDSafe remains important.
- You cannot have visitors to your home, unless they are your intimate partner or single social bubble buddy.
- You cannot travel more than 25km from your home or travel to regional Victoria except for work, study, care, or to visit your nearest vaccination centre. You can also leave home in an emergency.
- Face masks are mandatory indoors and outdoors, unless inside your home or if an exception applies.
- You can see friends and family outdoors in a public place in a group of up to 10 people. A public place is an area accessible by members of the public like a park or the beach.
- Check in upon entry using the Service Victoria app wherever you see the QR code, even if your visit is less than 15 minutes.
- Restaurants, cafés, pubs and retail are open, but with density requirements in place. Please observe those limits to ensure distancing.
- If you have any symptoms, no matter how mild, get tested for COVID-19.
