2025 was a year of many highs but also many lows, and I know I’m not alone in being relieved to say goodbye to this one 👋
It was amazing to step into running workshops again, this time sharing the beautiful space we call home and meeting many wonderful people 🥰
A massive thank you to Deb from Natural Flow Body, Mind & Soul for collaborating with me, putting so much behind the scenes work in, and generally being a friend and champion to me this year. Looking forward to more beautiful collaborations together in 2026 ❤️💫
I’ve also started a wonderful EFL program with Mannum Community College for a group of their students which is a dream I’ve had for a long time and I’m excited to be continuing and expanding it next year.
SA saw some fantastic clinicians this year, some of whom I missed but I was grateful to be able to attend David Landreville’s hoof trimming clinic in March, and proud of the two girls for attending as well, as well as Emotional Horsemanship by Lockie Phillips clinic in April, both of whom travelled across the world to deliver their knowledge to us locally.
Training wise I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and dipped my toe into teaching in this space…more of that to come in 2026 🧘♀️
I also attended Emma Loftus Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy for Horses and Humans Level 1 Craniosacral course at Barbs beautiful property with an amazing group of women, all of whom are doing incredible things in the horse world. A big thanks to Emma for delivering this to us in SA and also a thank you for the workshop we delivered together in May 🥰
Next year will see me studying my equine sports massage certificate so I can continue to improve my knowledge and ability to work with horses, and hopefully incorporate that into my work as well.
We welcomed a flock of 5 chooks and 1 duck to Henwarts and it feels like they’ve been with us forever. They bring so much laughter and happiness to our lives as well as lots of poo 💩😂❤️
We also welcomed a new herd member Trojan who we are all getting to know but I have a feeling is going to be a superstar 🤩
On the other hand we had some goodbyes and a long and continuing battle with Merlin’s health. We thought we would be saying goodbye to him a few times this year but thankfully he is still with us for now.
For those that stuck through it all with us, thank you 🙏 and thank you to all of you for your support, whether through likes, comments, shares, attending workshops, and for your ongoing encouragement. I’ve made some amazing friends over this journey, and am blessed to say I made a few more this year 💕
I have lots of ideas to bring to life in 2026 and look forward to sharing them with you all in this upcoming 1 year and year of the fire horse 🔥
I hope you all set some powerful intentions to move you into 2026 with clarity, purpose and fresh direction. Wishing you all the very best for the New Year ✨
