Make sure you let a healthier you be one of those opportunties by booking in for a general health check-up! It's never too late or too early to make sure everything is working as intended!

If you haven't already, don't forget to book in for your flu vaccine as well, as we're still in the flu season! And even though it's a new year, COVID-19 can still be an issue, so feel free to check-in to see if you're due for your next vaccine or not. The COVID-19 vaccine appointments run on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The Palmerston GP Super Clinic provides access to primary health care services to the Palmerston community and we are currently recruiting to our reception team.

Key responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients of the Palmerston GP Super Clinic.
Attend to counter enquiries ensuring accurate information and assistance is provided to the clients' satisfaction.
Attend to telephone enquiries; provide assistance as appropriate and direct callers as required.
Provide a range of administrative services.
Understand the needs of clients and communicate with them clearly and concisely, ensuring understanding is provided for all cultures and beliefs.
Provision of a quality service in an efficient, enthusiastic and responsible manner.
Deliver excellent customer service in a proficient manner.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
All members of our reception team participate in a seven day roster covering the hours 8.00 am to 8.30 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 6 pm Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (Closed Christmas Day). (Weekday shifts are 8.00 am to 4 pm and 12.30 pm to 8.30 pm.)

We're looking for a dynamic, experienced, registered nurse, to join our clinical team.

Managing acute and chronic presentations, our nursing team works closely with our General Practitioners, Allied Health and Non GP Specialists to meet the needs of our community. Working rotational shifts (8 am - 4 pm; 12.30 pm - 8.30 pm), the successful candidate will ideally have:

1. Recent experience in a primary health care setting including vaccination, wound care, and diagnostic services eg Spirometry, ECG;
2.Proficiency in vaccination services including accreditation to organise and administer immunisations to all age groups;
3.Experience working with electronic health records and an understanding of accreditation requirements;
4. Knowledge of and experience in provision of health assessments; and
5. The ability to work independently within their scope of practice.

Eligibility for registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential, as is the ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures with a demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal health.

Enjoy meeting people? Enjoy a challenge? We are looking for an outgoing and organised individual to join our reception / admin team. Tasks involve booking appointments, general office duties, answering the phone, faxing, scanning, and processing of accounts. The team work across a seven day roster with shifts spanning 8 am to 8.30 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 6 pm on weekends. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

Our close knit clinical team works together to deliver a comprehensive range of primary health care services to our vibrant community as well as working closely with the NT Medical Program to deliver innovative teaching to their medical student cohort. A mixed billing practice operating seven days per week, no on-call, variety of shifts availability. Interested GPs will ideally have a minimum 5 years practice experience and hold RACGP or ACCRM Fellowship or be willing to undertake a Fellowship program.
