Big thanks to this crew who joined the WIN NEWS team yesterday to show off everything that makes Pambula SLSC great! 🏖️ Nippers showed off their board skills, the UAV kept eyes in the sky, the new SLSNSW support ski hit the water, and our amazing members had a good chat about all things surf lifesaving. Competency swims this weekend!

Sapphire Aquatic Centre:

- Saturday 1-3pm
- Sunday 2-4pm.

Come anytime, entry is free for our Nippers, courtesy of Little Little Nippers Early Learning and Child Care Centre. Thank you!

If your child would like to train with a different age group (e.g. go up an age group to be with their friends), please be aware that they will need to pass the proficiency for that age group. Please let the assessors know on the day.

Marci (our registrar) and Eleanor (our uniform coordinator) will be onsite for assistance with registration or uniforms.

If you can’t make it this weekend, please let us know ASAP at nippers@pambulasurf.org.au so that we can organise another time. Nippers must be assessed in the water before they can go in the water at part of our activities at the beach from 2nd November.

NB. Bucket brigade aged kids do NOT need to do an assessment.

Congratulations to all our youth athletes selected in the Far South Coast Interbranch Team this season.

They will be competing in late November (29-30th) at Avoca Beach against all other branches in the state.

It’s Time to Register for Skills Maintenance!

All Bronze Medallion, SRC, ART, IRB Crew and IRB Driver award holders must complete their annual Skills Maintenance (Proficiency) by 31 December 2025 to remain proficient.

📅 Session Dates

Saturday 15 November, 9–12pm

Saturday 22 November, 9–12pm

Sunday 7 December, 9–12pm

💻 How to Enrol

Log in to the SLS Members Area

Go to Applications → eLearning → 2025 Skills Maintenance → Training Event

Select your session and click Enrol

Tick the appropriate award (e.g. Bronze, SRC, ART, IRB Crew, or IRB Driver)

Review the Club Policies link in your enrolment confirmation

🧠 Complete the Online Modules

Log in to the SLS Members Area

Go to Applications → eLearning → 2025 Skills Maintenance → Training Library

Select Skills Maintenance 2025/2026 and click View Courses

Choose your award (e.g. Bronze, SRC, ART, IRB Crew, or IRB Driver) → click Enrol and complete

Find your modules under My Training – they’ll show as complete once finished

✅ Remember: You must enrol and complete the online modules before attending your session.

Nippers is back for another season of fun in the surf!

Come along to our Nippers Info Session and find out everything you need to know about joining the 2025–26 season.

The wait is over… patrol season starts this weekend!

Our red and yellow flags will be up at Pambula Beach and our lifesavers will be on duty 9am–1pm, Saturday through Monday.

Warm weather is on the way, so grab your towel, head down to the beach and always swim between the flags. 🌊
