The Bone Bus Service is Coming to Our Practice!

We are excited to announce that the Bone Bus will be offering mobile bone scans on March 31st and April 1st, 2025 for patients who meet the following criteria:

Dr Ali Altalebi has extensive skills and experience in Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermoscopy, and Skin cancer surgery including facial flap and minor surgical procedures.

ℹ️ If you are living in the same household as someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 and cannot appropriately quarantine away from them, you must quarantine for 14 days from the date they had their test taken. You do not need to have a COVID-19 PCR test unless you develop any symptoms.

If you test positive to COVID-19 at any time during your quarantine period, you need to isolate for 10 days.

ℹ️ If you can appropriately quarantine away from them in the same household, or elsewhere, you must follow the below advice for close contacts:
▪immediately quarantine for 7 days since you last saw them
▪get a COVID-19 PCR test immediately
▪get a COVID-19 PCR test again on day 6 after exposure (a negative day 6 PCR test is required to be released from quarantine)
▪ get a PCR test again immediately if symptoms develop
▪not attend high risk settings or COVID Management Plan events for 14 days after exposure
▪wear a surgical mask when around others
▪avoid contact with vulnerable people (young children, elderly, pregnant, people with chronic health conditions), avoid non-essential activities, avoid working across worksites and avoid shared spaces and maintain physical distancing on days 8 to 14 after exposure.

ℹ️ Appropriate quarantine means that you have no contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19. If in the same household, you must be able to stay in a separate room and if they leave the room (e.g. to go to the bathroom, laundry or kitchen), you must ensure that you are not in an area they will pass through. Please practice good hand hygiene and wipe down frequently touched surfaces.

SA Health has identified new COVID-19 exposure locations in South Australia associated with a positive case of COVID-19.

If you attended an exposure location, you are required to follow the relevant health advice.

More information on health advice and requirements for households will be available on the SA Health website shortly.

⚠ Close contact exposure location

Qantas Flight QF733 – Sydney to Adelaide (Rows 1 to 4)
▫ Wednesday 24 November – arrived 10.15am

Unvaccinated contacts – If you are unvaccinated and were at the above Close contact exposure location at the specified date and time, you must:
▪ immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were at the location
▪ get tested immediately
▪ get tested again on day 6 and day 13

Vaccinated contacts - If you are vaccinated and were at the above Close contact exposure location at the specified date and time, you must:
▪ immediately quarantine for 7 days since you were at the location
▪ get tested immediately
▪ get tested again on day 6 and day 13
