The divine power wielded by ancient Egyptian neteru (gods) and kings alike was known as "Heka". It was also perceived as a force created by the neters in order to maintain cosmic order and ensure the prosperity of the kingdom. As such, it was considered to be the power that made thoughts manifest through rituals, spells, and amulets.
On Sunday, 30 November, I will be hosting a workshop where we will be stepping into the world of the ancient Egyptians, exploring some of the underlying principles found not only within Egyptian myth, but also those which have influenced many magical traditions today.

The Isian Centre of Metaphysics is so named after the ancient Egyptian Goddess Isis (or Aset) who was known for her powers of healing and magic, and is located only 20 minutes north of Adelaide’s CBD, in Parafield Gardens. It was created as a sacred space to encase and contain over 30 years of exploration through the varying concepts and overall important of maintaining a healthy mind-body-spirit connection.
The principal therapist of the Isian Centre of Metaphysics is Frances Billinghurst who holds a Bachelor Degree in Metaphysical Science, as well as being a certified hypnotherapist, Death Walker, practitioner of past and present life regressions, who is further trained in number of energetic healing modalities, as well as being an accomplished tarot card reader for over 20 years. All this (and more) enables the Isian Centre of Metaphysics to truly be a central focal point in the offering services to assist people to (re)enhance their own lives.
