*Silence Saturday*

Pause!

If you haven’t given yourself five minutes to be quiet today maybe now is the time.

Listen to the world move around you.

What do you hear that you haven’t heard before?
What thoughts slipped in wanting acknowledgment?
How hard is it to allow stillness?

If this exercise makes you think ‘ohh nope, not going there!’

Maybe it’s time you called us for a chat.

Journalling is a powerful way to process memory and thoughts.

While you can jot them in a iNote we suggest using a pen and paper because it engages the five senses.

As a sexual health therapist I ask these questions often.

My answers are:
1. 10 whistled at from a building site
2. 13 at school by an older boy
3. 14 at school by an older boy

I was flashed for the first time when I was 14.

I was taught to hold my keys between my fingers when walking alone. I was told not to wear short skirts, to be polite to men.

I’m never surprised by the answers and I’m always disappointed.

What were you taught?

After dinner I enjoy a and she’s turned her nose up at all flavours except Choc Banana.

Good. We won’t need to share!

You’ll see me talking about a lot. That’s because it’s important to have balance in your life. Work and play, sleep and awake, hot and cold.

Just because you’re an adult now doesn’t mean play ceases…it just looks different.

Call today if you want to up your self-care game!
