Tom Bowen, its originator, saw that the underlying source of many musculoskeletal, neurological, neuromuscular and other health problems could be found in the soft tissue or fascia. Fascia embraces all nerves, bones, arteries, veins, and muscles. Fascial dysfunction can affect every structure, muscle, nerve and organ in the body with nerve compression, muscle shortening, skeletal and organ displacement as typical examples. Bowen is safe to use on anyone from the elderly to young children and on any condition from sporting injuries to chronic complaints. A treatment consists of small gentle moves each at a specific site on the body. There is no forceful manipulation, just light cross-fibre moves over a muscle, tendon or ligament. Bowen is gentle and effective, with substantial relief frequently attained after the first session. In many cases, only three treatments are required, one week apart. Treatments usually last between 45 to 60 minutes.

Dear Customers and patients, I am still open for now..I have put in place safety features. these include having 15 and 30 minute gaps between patients so there will be no-one in the waiting room between patients. this also allows me to do extra cleaning between patients such as wiping down surfaces with disinfectant.. As always, I change all sheets between patients. I always use fresh disposable face hole covers on each patient. As always I thoroughly wash my hands between patients.
If you are not feeling well then please cancel your appointment. I will also wear a face mask as an extra precaution..Inside and Outside of the clinic I am also following all guidelines issued by the federal and state governments. The associations I belong to are the BTFA and the ATMS and both have issued their own guidelines which I am adhering to.. I wish everyone to stay safe and healthy..
