🌿 Medicinal Herb Collection 🌿

I’ve been working on building a collection of medicinal herbs for wellness and healing, and I’d love to share it with you all! Here are some of the herbs I have so far:

I’m always on the lookout for new herbs to add to my collection! If you have any herbs you’d recommend, or perhaps have some that you’d be willing to gift, I’d be forever grateful. 🌱 (I’m in Tasmania Australia.)

What are your go-to medicinal herbs? Let me know in the comments, and feel free to reach out if you have any to share. 🙏

Understanding Depression & Serotonin: More Isn’t Always the Answer 💭 Many believe antidepressants simply increase serotonin, but in reality, they often work by rationing the serotonin we already have. While this can help for some, others find themselves on these medications for years without significant change. It’s a reminder to look deeper—sometimes, addressing lifestyle, gut health, or alternative therapies can make a difference. 🌿🧠 Mental wellness is a journey, and finding what truly supports you is key!

“Hi, I’m a dandelion! Many people think of me as just a w**d, but I’m actually here to help out.

When you see me, remember I’m the only one who can thrive in that exact spot. Here’s why:

• If the soil is hard and compact, I’ll break it up with my roots.
• If calcium is low, I’ll replenish it as my leaves break down.
• If the soil is too acidic, I’ll help balance it out. 🌱

Let me do my work, and when the soil is healthier, I’ll move along. But if you pull me out too soon, I’ll be back twice as strong until the job’s done.

You can even read my leaves to see my progress: if they’re flat, I’m just getting started; if they’re reaching up, I’m nearly done. Plus, I’m one of the first flowers of spring, feeding pollinators with both pollen and nectar.

Did you know I’m also a powerhouse in natural wellness? My leaves and roots have been used to aid digestion, support liver health, and reduce inflammation. High in antioxidants, I also help protect against cellular damage. You can find recipes online for dandelion teas, salads, and even fried dandelion blooms. Just remember to leave some for the bees and keep the ecosystem thriving! 🌼”
