You’re not going to comment on this… but you’ll feel it. Most women won’t say this out loud. They’ll read something like this, pause for a second, and then keep scrolling because it’s easier than trying to explain what’s actually going on. So they keep going. They show up. They hold everything together. They tell themselves it’s not that bad. But underneath it, they know something isn’t right. At some point, that quiet feeling gets louder. Not all at once, just enough to realise this isn’t how you want to keep living. This is exactly the kind of pattern I help women shift. Not just talking about it. Not just understanding it. Actually dealing with what’s underneath it so you can stop coping and start feeling like yourself again. If this hit deeper than you expected, message me.

Today is my birthday.

And that hasn’t always been something I looked forward to.

I used to dread it.

It felt like a reminder of everything I hadn’t done…
everything I hadn’t become yet.

But that changed.

Not because life magically improved.
Because I did the work.

Now I see my birthday differently.

It’s not just another year older.

It’s a checkpoint.

A moment to stop and actually look at my life.

Who have I become this past year?

What did I move through?

What did I finally let go of?

Where did I grow… even when it was uncomfortable?

And I take that seriously.

I sit with it.
I acknowledge it.
I own it.

Because you don’t get to step into more…
if you keep skipping over what you’ve already done.

I also set the tone for what’s next.

Not surface goals.

Real intention.

How I want to show up
What I’m no longer available for
The standards I’m stepping into

This one shift changed everything for me.

I stopped fearing time passing…
and started using it.

And today has been a perfect example of that.

So many little blessings.

Messages.
Opportunities.
Moments of peace.

The kind of things you don’t always notice…
until you slow down and actually receive them.

This is what happens when you shift your mindset.

When you back yourself.
When you choose to see differently.
When you allow yourself to receive… without blocking it.

I love my life.

I love who I’ve become.

And I’m proud of the work it took to get here.

If your birthday feels heavy for you right now…

I get it.

But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

You can choose to see it differently.

You can choose to use it.

You can choose to become someone new.

And that’s where everything starts.

The best part about it is being surrounded by beautiful people

It might feel like being stuck, but that silence isn't punishment. It's your nervous system's way of protecting you, keeping you safe and preventing harm. You're not broken; it's a built-in defense.

19/04/2026

Many of us feel uneasy when things improve, especially with help. We tend to do things alone or stick to what we know, rather than trying something new. This discomfort can hold us back from growth.

19/04/2026

You're not broken, you just need to remember who you are. When someone told me, 'You are your own rescue, nobody else is coming to save you,' it changed everything. You can do it too.

Identity shifts weekly, allowing for growth beyond your current self. Embrace the continuous evolution of life – it's what we're meant to do.

A woman reached out to me recently.

Her partner is sitting beside his mother as she moves through the final stages of life.

And she said something honest that a lot of people feel but don’t say out loud.

“I don’t know how to support him. I don’t want to get this wrong.”

She felt pushed aside.
Disconnected.
Unsure what to say or do.

This is where relationships either strengthen… or quietly start to crack.

Grief changes people.

It pulls their focus.
It reduces their capacity.
It shifts how they show up.

And if you don’t understand what’s happening, it’s easy to take it personally and create pressure when support is what’s actually needed.

So I wrote a blog on how to handle this properly.

Not just “be there for them” advice.

Real guidance on:

what to say
what not to say
how to support them without pushing them away
how to manage your own emotions during it

If you’ve ever felt unsure how to show up for someone you love during grief, this will help you.

Read it here: https://shazcini.com/how-to-support-your-partner-during-grief/

If this is something you’re going through right now, or you know someone who is, send this to them.

Sometimes one shift in understanding changes everything.

Give yourself permission to experience all the great things life has to offer—ease, comfort, beauty, passion, love, joy, and happiness. You truly deserve it all.

19/04/2026

Our bodies and minds can become so accustomed to struggle that ease feels foreign. When constant hardship is the only thing we know, we might unconsciously recreate it. Learning to truly sit in joy is a journey.

Your pain is real, and you don't have to keep suffering. This world isn't a place to endure, but a space to grow and evolve. Embrace the journey. growth pain shift improvement

Our deepest fear is the unknown. But you've already conquered so much. If you can survive the hard times, you can absolutely thrive in joy and love. Give yourself permission to.
