Social Workers are trained in psychological and social interventions and theories. Many social workers continue to build on their interests through further training in counselling approaches and therapy interventions. Using art in therapy alongside other cognitive behavioural approaches can build capacity in therapy. Anita has trained in a diploma in art therapy and can use this approach which can be used as a NDIS funded support. Get in touch if you are interested in exploring the use of art in therapy.
