At Entire OT, we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Aboriginal Elders and engaging with Aboriginal clients and communities across Western Australia.

During NAIDOC week, we honour the resilience, strength and vibrant cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme, ‘Keep the Fire Burning’ is a powerful reminder of the rich history and ongoing connection to land, community and tradition of First Nations cultures. 🔥

Today is Global Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Awareness Day 🧠💪🏼 A day dedicated to raising awareness in support of people living with MND, and those caring or supporting people with MND.

We are PDA aware! 🧠 PDA stands for ‘Pathological Demand Avoidance’ and is a profile within the Autism Spectrum. The “A” for avoidance, at its core, is due to an extreme anxiety caused by everyday demands. Individuals with PDA are frequently misconceived as being ‘defiant’. PDA is best described as “can’t NOT won’t”, where an individual feels that they are unable to meet a demand as opposed to simply not wanting to complete it.
