Here we have dry needling of the iliacus,

The iliacus forms the lateral (outer) portion of the iliopsoas (hip flexors)

The iliacus provides flexion of the hip joint and adds to tension built up from daily sitting or hip weakness which can increase lower back pain and tension in the posterior chain from the constant tension on the front of the hip joint

And finally to allow the hip flexors to lengthen, we have the stretch, which requires tucking the hips underneath the body which will in turn, stop you from being able to track the body forward as much
