🤍 A group chat we wanted to be in!

This morning we hosted an insightful education session with a selection of Occupational Therapists, Support Coordinators and other allied health professionals.

While we strive continually to raise the standard of SDA, it’s important for us to better understand the perspectives from those working closely with Participants.

We heard from Lauren Hart at and Kristina Petkovic from - as well as a tenant living in SDA, Carl.

We heard about:
✅ SDA compliance vs true accessibility.
🚩 SDA Provider red flags vs green flags.
❓Important questions you should be asking your Provider.

We recognise living comfortably goes beyond ‘accessible’ - and SDA design criterea doesn’t always include features to make your space the easiest it could be.
